50% Paid Wages: The On-the-Job Training program offers partial subsidized employment, 50% of the training wages, with the goal of permanent unsubsidized employment. The purpose of this program is to subsidize the training period which may last up to 6 months. This program is funded by the Workforce Investment Board of Santa Cruz County and the County Board of Supervisors. 100% Paid Wages: offers temporary subsidized employment. The individual is paid directly by Goodwill Industries 100% of the wages and payroll taxes. The employer provides supervision and training. Positions may last up to 6 months. This is a new program funded by the County of Santa Cruz Human Services Department and ARRA which provides Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Emergency Contingency Fund (ECF).
